First regional WIN of 2025

100c Jr Podium - Asad gets the WIN

NWKA Burly Supercup - Rounds 3 & 4 Race Recap

Asad had a very good weekend at Rounds 3 and 4 of the NWKA Burly Supercup, earning his first regional win of 2025 and adding to his podium tally that started with two podiums at Rounds 1-2 in March at Tri-City Kart Club.

Competing across both Junior 206 and 100cc Junior classes, each with over 20 participants, Asad showed solid pace and gained valuable experience throughout the weekend.

Saturday Results:

In Junior 206, Asad started strong with a top-5 qualifying position but experienced a tough spin in the pre-final that dropped him from his promising start to P18. He fought back to finish P12 in the final.

The 100cc Junior class went better on Saturday. Asad qualified P7, climbed to P5 in the pre-final, and held that spot through the final for a solid performance.

Sunday Results:

Sunday saw improvement in Junior 206 with Asad qualifying P5, finishing P4 in the pre-final, and securing P3 in the final for another podium finish.

In 100cc Junior, Asad qualified P2 by time, but a pushback bumper penalty set him back to P16 for the pre-final start. Despite this setback, he charged through the field to finish P3 in the final, which became a WIN after post-race penalties were applied to competitors ahead.

Looking Ahead:

The team is now preparing to compete in the SKUSA Pro Tour series this week in Cincinnati, Ohio.
